Occupational Therapy Services in Prospect: Achieve or Regain Independence and
Self-Sufficiency
Bridging Potentials offers occupational therapy services in Prospect for individuals of all ages who have physical, sensory, and cognitive difficulties so they can help achieve or regain independence in all areas of their lives. While our occupational therapy services are geared towards children below 18 years of age, we also provide them to adults. We also offer occupational therapy sessions for parents to enable them to understand and support their children undergoing OT sessions with our occupational therapists.
The occupational therapy sessions we have address and manage physical and/or cognitive conditions affecting children and adults such as movement and coordination; thoughts, perception, and memory; and processing of sensory experiences. We have activities designed to stimulate their physical and mental faculties letting them develop, recover, or maintain the skills necessary to live an independent life.

Bridging Potentials' Occupational Therapy Services in Prospect
We do one-on-one or group-based occupational therapy services in Prospect and conduct ongoing sessions and one-off (reports).
OT Assessment. An assessment to gauge the kind of occupational therapy needed. It involves giving out the child or adult standardised and non-standardised evaluations along with an interview. Assessments can be done in the clinic, at home, or in school (for children who need it). We also do NDIS Functional Capacity assessments.
Telehealth/Online OT. We offer OT services and consultation for physical and cognitive conditions for children and adults.
Therapy Sessions. After the assessment, our occupational therapist will determine the kind of OT needed and the frequency of the sessions. We offer individual or one-on-one therapy sessions and group-based sessions.
Private OT. We offer this to parents who want to supplement the OT sessions their children get from school. We also entertain referrals.
Community-Based OT. These are sessions helping children and adults develop skills in a community setting, where the emphasis is on interactions with people, their environment, and their occupation, among other things.
In-Clinic OT. These are OT sessions conducted at our soon-to-open clinic using specialised equipment designed to address the specific needs, goals, and preferences of the individual.
Sensory Integration Therapy. It is one of the therapy services we offer focused on helping children and adults process multiple sensory inputs.
Does Your Child Need an OT?
Many parents are anxious when it comes to their children’s developmental phase. We at Bridging Potentials understand that deeply. If you’re one of those anxious parents, here are some of the signs your child might just need any of our paediatric occupational therapy services:
- When your child avoids certain surfaces:Your child may have a sensory processing disorder if they avoid textures or surfaces. Sensory integration therapy can help them overcome this and other sensory processing challenges.
- When your child does not use both hands when playing or doing activities:Your child may need support in further developing their fine motor skills. An occupational therapy (OT) assessment is recommended to get a formal diagnosis of your child’s needs.
- When your child avoids eye contact or has difficulty maintaining eye contact:This is one of the tell-tale signs of autism. Have this confirmed through an OT assessment as soon as possible.
